The intent is a revenue-share pool that pays creators back for what they publish into the Marketplace, split across first-download reach, ongoing use, and top-contributor recognition. That payout system doesn't exist yet — publishing today doesn't earn credit or cash. Free items (themes, prompts, docs) are open to everyone regardless, no strings attached. We'll announce payouts separately once that system is real.
AI Cockpit was built for personal use first. The free tier is generous by design — if all you need is a powerful local AI workspace, you'll never pay anything. Paid tiers exist for two specific, opt-in reasons: a curated Marketplace worth paying into (and getting paid from), and reaching your own rig from anywhere. There are no artificial caps on projects, chats, models, or local features on any tier.
