AI Cockpit was built for personal use first. The free tier is generous by design — if all you need is a powerful local AI workspace, you'll never pay anything. Paid tiers exist only for infrastructure costs (server-side orchestration, bandwidth) and are entirely opt-in. There are no artificial limits on projects, chats, models, or local features on any tier.
